You may find cheaper Chihuahua, yorkie, & chorkie puppies elsewhere but you may not find puppies as loved and cared for as our puppies chihuahuas, yorkies, & chorkies are at Gan Haven. Our dogs and their puppies are a big part of our family and as such we maintain a small breeding program so as to sustain the one on one contact that all puppies and dogs require and deserve. The health and happiness of our dogs and puppies is our top priority and our mission is to provide you with a well bred, healthy, well socialized, pre-spoiled puppy.
Gan Haven specializes in long coat chihuahuas, smooth coat chihuahuas, chorkies (a chihuahua and yorkie cross), chocolate yorkies, golden yorkies, and of course standard yorkies. Gan haven strives to conform to breed standard but occasionally we get teeny tiny babies that need a special home where they get the extra special attention they require or we may get puppies that are a little oversized. Nothing can beat the sound of itty bitty puppy pawz no matter the size, color or breed.
Our doggy room is well kept and our floors are disinfected twice a day to protect our dogs and puppies from harmful bacteria and viral illness. All of our puppies and dogs are current on their vaccinations and worming and are guaranteed for 7 days from the date of purchase to be healthy and free of the parvo virus, canine distemper, hepatitis, corona virus, and canine cough. We offer a one year health guarantee against any hereditary or congenital health issues should one arise.
All of our chihuahuas, yorkies, & chorkie puppies for sale come with a portfolio with photos of your new puppy and the parents as well as information on training, health, & more. Along with that, we send a puppy pack with a bag of high quality puppy food that the puppy was use to eating while here at Gan Haven, treats, some of their favorite toys, a homemade blanket, and a stuffed bear that has been rubbed on mom and siblings so the puppy has a familiar scent while he/she makes their transition to your home. Oh and we can’t forget that your new puppy will come with her/his very own baby identification necklace with the name they were accustomed to while at Gan Haven. Your puppy has been wearing this necklace since they were 4 weeks old to get them used to wearing a collar when they go to their forever home.
Our dogs are not kept in kennels or raised in a separate facility from our home. The only time they are kenneled is at bedtime where they each have their own pet taxi to keep them safe and comfortable at night. The black crates are used for keeping our females in heat from unwanted contact from our males as well as for keeping young puppies and their mothers safe and out of harms way. Puppies begin their life in our nursery and in a weeks time as long as all are doing well, mom and puppies graduate to the doggy room where mom can socialize and frolic with her fur family while her babies sleep. All puppies when they are old enough have special playtime in the living room where they can run and play until their hearts are content. Our puppies usually meet their new families when they are about 10 weeks old and have been eating solid food on their own for a few weeks. We don't like to take puppies away from mom too soon as we feel that mom plays a very important role and if the puppies are taken away too soon, may run the risk of becoming stressed and can quickly become hypoglycemic because of their small stature.
The doggy room is a room just off my kitchen where the dogs have free roam and access to a doggy door that allows them access to a large yard of their own all day long. There is a large fenced off area in this yard where females in heat and older puppies can enjoy the outdoors as well. The yard base is pea stone which is easy to keep clean and allows for intermittent outdoor disinfection as well. There is a bench swing in the yard that while we are sitting and swinging, our laps are full of happy little faces looking up at us adoringly.
